This document describes the properties and function of the Macromedia Dreamweaver. The pictures and most of the text still refer to version 2.0, also partly to 3.0 (more about the changes in the introduction at Changes in Dreamweaver 3), but the current one is version 4.0.
The manual is mainly meant for the members of the Jugendnetz server team of the Jugendnetz Frankfurt/Offenbach who have not come around getting to know Dreamweaver till now in order to allow them getting in easier, evading the usual mistakes. Taking for granted that everyone reading this knows about HTML as well as the basic operation with a Windows program, I won't describe it in further detail.
Even those who are not interested in Dreamweaver might find some tips here.
Beside general topics that you can reach using the link abr at the top of the page, there's a comprehensive description of the different windows, too.
If there are any uncertainties after having read the manual carefully, I'm willing to clear up further questions (as far as possible). Even those who are not members of the Jugendnetz server team are encouraged to write to my email address.
The complete manual can also be downloaded as ZIP file: drewe.zip (ca. 135 KB).
