Quoting is an old tradition in newsgroups, so it is in the Groups of the MausNet. I think most of you know the comment of mails with quoting by now. But, contrary to the Usenet, the users in the MausNet do not like it when somebody quotes a whole mail at the end of his own comment - after all it is here where an operating concatenation exists. Instead, you only quote what you comment here, so that you go on step by step. Beyond that, many frontends put the initials of the quoted person additionally in front of the simple ">", as a rule as capitals.
